I spotted this beautiful turtle from the boat, grabbed my mask, fins and camera and followed this magnificent creature into the blue. The turtle was very inquisitive, her own reflection in the large camera dome might have sparked some curiosity. Between short dives she resurfaced next to me, allowing for photographs to be taken from different angles.

Eventually this ocean voyager gracefully descended into the deep, her shell changed the shade to blue and disappeared between the healthy colony of corals. I hope that the conservation efforts of rangers of this Marine Protected Area paid off and that this turtle continues to glide between the reefs.
