Removes the lipid layer
protecting each strand
Salt water removes the lipid layer protecting each strand. It causes hygral fatigue — the swelling and shrinking of the hair shaft from repeated wetting and drying. Over time, this causes breakage, frizz, and loss of elasticity.
UV LIGHT
Oxidises the bonds
that give hair its strength
UV light oxidises the disulfide bonds that give hair its strength. It degrades melanin, causing colour fading, and compounds the damage caused by salt by stripping what little protective layer remains.

Oil-soluble Vitamin C penetrates the hair shaft — the water-soluble form found in most products cannot. Victoria Amazonica flower extract strengthens and conditions. It works and it is also one of the most beautiful ingredients in the world.

Rinse with fresh water
Rinse after every session. Heading back in? Reapply to dry or damp hair, at least every 4–6 hours. Your hair will tell you the difference.

BEFORE YOU GO IN
Apply to dry or damp hair
2-5 pumps, depending on hair length. Work from mid-lengths to ends, comb or finger-through, then go in the water and forget about your hair.
